Welcome to Shoebox Bears.  I am Amanda and I am 54 years old, I live in the South Lakes, Cumbria and I'm a keen mountain biker and I work part time for a local outsource Company.  I started making bears during lockdown in 2020 to keep busy as I have progressive Multiple Sclerosis  Each bear is unique and handmade with love.

I am now starting to make collector's bears, whether its a fisherman bear for your fisherman friend, a birthday bear or a wedding bear for an upcoming wedding, I can match the colours to their wedding theme or just message me at amandamiles@shoeboxbears.com if you would like a specific bear gift.

My memory bears are very popular , whether this is made from a school uniform, old baby grows and your child is now older, a deceased loved ones clothing or you just want a bear making out of clothes that have a memory for you.

Each bear can be made either 26cm or 42 cms high
